It is with these guiding principles that portfolios are constructed, with regenerative enterprises favored, and extractive industries excluded. We measure the carbon footprint of every portfolio annually, and offset portfolio emissions by at least 1.5 to 2 times the portfolio footprint. Our offsetting is accomplished through reforestation with partner non-profits in the Peruvian Amazon.
In this way, we are doing our part to drawdown CO2 from the atmosphere, regenerate our most precious natural capital, and restore the balance necessary for a healthy economy and society.
